About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Casual Conference and Events Assistant to join our Conference and Events department at Park Regis Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring that Park Regis etiquette standards are met at all times.
  • Reservations and Bookings: Make guest reservations and book correctly onto the hotel booking system, ensuring timely updates to avoid service disruptions.
  • Table Setting and Clearing: Set tables according to event or service type, adhering to Park Regis standards, and clear tables within allocated timeframes.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food courses and beverages to guests, following Park Regis etiquette standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Regularly communicate with the Kitchen team regarding product availability, wait times, and menu questions.
  • Guest Dietary Requirements: Inform the Kitchen team of guest dietary requirements and allergies or special menu requests.
  • Product Knowledge: Be knowledgeable of chef specials and menu items to provide recommendations and ingredients advice.
  • Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to strict hygiene and safety procedures when handling food and beverages.
