Document Control Specialist Role Overview

At GA Group, we're seeking a skilled Document Control Specialist to join our London studio. This pivotal role will involve collaborating closely with internal and external project teams, as well as client Document Management teams, third-party consultants, and other stakeholders.

### Key Responsibilities

* Control the issuing and distribution of documents received and submitted
* Verify documents prior to issue for accuracy and compliance
* Track and monitor document revisions, ensuring the latest versions are easily accessible
* Maintain project registers, control logs, and prepare reports as needed
* Develop and implement document control processes and procedures
* Maintain and update document control systems and databases
* Assist project teams with folder storage structures and access to project information

### Essential Skills and Experience

* Excellent document control experience in an Architecture / Interior Design environment
* Strong knowledge of document control regulations, principles, practices, and standards
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and to multiple strict timelines
* Proficiency in Aconex document management software, with experience in other document management software such as INAXUS and/or process-led document control systems a plus
