We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveying professional to join our Regional team as a key member. With strong leadership skills, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, establishing new accounts, and driving business development initiatives.
As a senior member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a trusted advisor to business unit directors in achieving business objectives;
- Delivering high-quality building surveying services that meet customer requirements;
- Overseeing building surveying commissions, including surveys, dilapidation advice, party wall advice, and construction projects;
- Communicating effectively with clients and project team members;
- Mentoring and coaching employees to enhance their performance.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Broad experience in Building Surveying, post MRICS qualification;
- Practical knowledge of building surveying tasks and delivery strategies;
- In-depth understanding of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies;
- Clear comprehension of legislation impacting building contracts;
- Ability to motivate others and lead high-performance teams;
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, financial, and numeracy management skills;
- Strong ICT skills, proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
