University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is recruiting a skilled Ionising Radiation Technician to join our radiotherapy department. The ideal candidate will have experience in radiotherapy planning, scanning, and/or treating patients, including IGRT/IMRT, and possess a therapeutic radiography qualification taught in English/IELTS Level 7. Key responsibilities include working as a member of a team, coordinating the planning and delivery of ionising radiation, and participating in research projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work as a member of a team in all areas of the department within a rota system.
  • Comply with all trust and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Ensure a patient-centred approach to the radiotherapy service.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Salary: £25,680 - £34,980 per annum (Band 5).
