About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to a young boy in Bromyard, Worcester.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work without direct supervision in the home of the service user, providing personal, social, and domestic support while adhering to the individual care and support plan.

The aim of the position is to enable the service user to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including medication administration, moving and handling, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Support the service user with social and domestic tasks, such as reading, watching TV, and engaging in activities.
  • Ensure the service user's right to privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant who:

  • Has a minimum of 3 months' previous care experience.
  • Is trained in medication administration, personal care, moving and handling, and pet-friendly care.
