This is a full-time, temporary role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young people's lives, helping them navigate challenges and develop coping skills.

About the School:

Our mission is to support each student's journey towards achieving their full potential, socially, emotionally, and academically, working closely with teaching staff, support staff, and families to create strategies and interventions that encourage positive behavior and personal growth.

About the Role:

As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and development, build resilience and confidence, and achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and development, helping them build resilience and confidence.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions, focusing on building students' emotional well-being and social skills.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive environment within the school.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young people or adults with SEMH needs, not necessarily in an educational setting.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience, with a passion for supporting students' wellbeing and development.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, social work, or related fields (desirable but not essential).
Why this role?

You will receive ongoing training and professional development opportunities, as well as a competitive salary of £20-22 per hour, dependent on experience.
