Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manufacturing Support Engineer at Acorn by Synergie Careers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for determining engineering priorities, devising planned maintenance schedules, and ensuring all activities meet health, safety, and environmental standards.

About the Role
You will work closely with our production team to maintain and improve plant performance, allocate resources and materials effectively, and monitor engineering teams and contractors to ensure work is carried out to plan. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing staff training and development, controlling expenditure on spares, materials, and labour, and preparing and submitting proposals for minor capital and major maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Determine and set engineering priorities in collaboration with line managers
- Devise and implement planned maintenance and inspection schedules in line with statutory requirements
- Allocate resources and materials effectively to ensure maintenance schedules are met
- Monitor engineering teams and contractors to ensure work is carried out to plan
- Manage staff training and development to create a safety-conscious and technically competent workforce
- Control expenditure on spares, materials, and labour, ensuring that budgets are adhered to
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out system to support fault resolution and breakdowns

Salary and Benefits
