The Role:

A Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing maintenance activities on single flow production lines, including automatic screwdrivers, robotic pick and place systems, palletizers and special purpose automatic assembly cells. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLCs and robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fault finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment, including PLCs, electric drives, robotics and pneumatics.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance activities on various plant and machinery.
  • Produce reports to analyze breakdown causes and make recommendations for countermeasures.
  • Support equipment commissioning and installation projects.
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to safe working practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree in an engineering related discipline.
  • Completed an approved multi-skilled apprenticeship.
