We're seeking a talented software engineer to join our team as a full stack developer. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and building complex systems to process large volumes of data, both structured and unstructured.

Our ideal candidate will have experience with Ruby on Rails, relational databases, and AWS. They'll also be proficient in testing, including unit tests, system tests, and mocking.

Additionally, they'll have a strong understanding of machine learning, particularly natural language processing, and be able to work with large datasets.

As a full stack developer, you'll be working on a wide range of projects, from front-end development to back-end data processing. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and creativity.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Ruby on Rails (or similar modern language and MVC framework)
  • Relational DB experience (noSQL also great to have)
  • AWS – basics e.g. DevOps
  • Testing including unit tests, system tests, and mocking
  • Machine Learning – particularly Natural Language Processing
  • Analytics or BI
  • AWS – more advanced use of services
