Computerworld Personnel Ltd is looking for a skilled Maintenance Specialist with electrical bias to join our team in Wisbech. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with cutting-edge technology.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all automated materials handling systems, including conveyors, automated stacker cranes, SCADA systems, barcode readers, scanners, cooling systems, refrigeration, site services, palletisers, automated turntables, PLC's, elevators.

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including PPMs and reactive maintenance
  • Work on various systems, including conveyors, stackers, refrigeration, chillers, site services
  • Assist in developing PPM schedules for new machinery and systems

This role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment and solve problems independently. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and experience working in automated warehouse and distribution environments.

Requirements:
  • Must be a multi-skilled engineer - electrically biased
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Ideal apprenticeship training

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
