Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Scania, one of the world's leading manufacturers of heavy commercial vehicles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs on our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with vehicles
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and targets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification or proven technical experience in HGV maintenance and repair
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances

Preferred Qualifications

  • LGV/HGV/PCV licence an advantage
  • Bus and coach experience an advantage
  • IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential
