Behaviour Manager

Job Description
As a Behaviour Manager at CER Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who require additional help in overcoming barriers to learning and developing their potential by raising their standards of behaviour for learning.
Main Responsibilities
1. You will be the first point of contact for everyday student problems, providing a supportive and non-judgmental listening ear.
2. You will investigate reported incidents of poor behaviour, working closely with students, parents, and staff to find solutions.
3. You will maintain effective lines of communication with parents and carers, keeping them informed of individual students' behaviour, consequences, or exclusions.
4. You will liaise with relevant staff to develop and implement actions to support students.
5. You will administer appropriate sanctions, ensuring that students understand the reasons behind them.
6. You will provide emotional support to students and their families in crisis, working closely with identified personnel.
7. You will work with students to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these.
8. You will monitor the behaviour and progress of students, celebrating successes and providing additional support where needed.
9. You will provide supervision and support to students, ensuring their safety and well-being.
10. You will coordinate C5s, working closely with parents, students, and staff to ensure a smooth and effective process.
