About The Role

To effectively carry out servicing and inspections of machinery, ensuring a first-class service to both internal and external customers.

You will actively seek revenue opportunities and discuss them with customers, Customer Support Representatives, and your Line Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance servicing and inspections on Volvo construction equipment and miscellaneous equipment, submitting detailed inspection reports in a timely manner.
  • E nsure work is carried out to high standards, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • E nsure all work is checked and tested with a keen eye to detail and high quality of work at all times.
  • C arry out all work in line with quotations and time guides, highlighting to management where additional work may be required.
  • C ommplete product updates/campaign work as instructed by the CSA Planners.
  • A ccurately complete systems/paperwork, including oil sample reports, Matris readouts, component failure reports, Service Inspection Reports.
  • F lexibility to work overtime as and when required and to honour reasonable call-out requests.
  • Work in accordance with SMTGB standards for health, safety, quality, and environmental care.
Salary: £45,000 per annumRequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Experience

In order to set you up for success, we look for the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant.
  • Ability to drive and handle heavy construction machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to understand some technical literature, including service manuals, service bulletins, and parts books.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate efficiently with colleagues, management, and customers.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use email.
  • High standards and attention to detail.
  • Conscientious in all aspects of the job.
  • Highly responsible, reliable, honest, and trustworthy.
  • Hold a full and valid UK Driving Licence.
