The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is partnering with Local Councils and SEND teams across the UK to provide educational support to individuals who are out of mainstream education, seeking additional support, or have SEND.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Tutor to provide education support to Primary students who are not accessing mainstream education.
Desirable qualifications include previous experience working with SEN and SEMH.
Position details:
- Location - Various locations across Wirral
- Position - Primary Tutor
- Type of work - Contract
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour
- Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session
Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable)
- UK classroom teaching experience
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
