The JRL Group, a leading provider of integrated construction solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join its Procurement team.

Role and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will assist the Procurement Manager and Director in procuring materials for commercial and residential schemes. Key duties include:

  • Procuring materials within budgets and on time to progress works on site.
  • Producing monthly budgetary control reports on all materials purchased for each site.
  • Scheduling materials and completing requisitions.
  • Ensuring all materials are purchased on time, to specification, and at the best price available.
  • Performing general administrative duties.
  • Resolving disputes and account queries between suppliers and the company.
  • Working to strict deadlines and contributing positively to a team.
  • Able to work independently and accept criticism while working well under pressure.
  • Familiarity with basic computer tasks and Excel.
  • Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and standards.
  • Sorting, storing, and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of the team.
