Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team in St Helens. As a key member of our Accounting & Finance team, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports, providing financial analysis and guidance, and collaborating with other members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers
  • Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting processes
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Collaborating with other members of the Accounting & Finance team, managing juniors in the team
  • Implementing cost control measures
  • Participating in financial audits and external audit queries

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, excellent numerical skills and attention to detail, good knowledge of accounting software and MS Office, strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
