Global Sourcing Manager

We are partnering with a well-established Food business to recruit an Interim Sourcing Manager with extensive knowledge of the Global Food Purchasing market.

The ideal candidate will lead the sourcing and negotiation on the range of finished goods, working with a truly global supply base spanning 16 countries across the Far East, North Africa, and South America.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supplier Management: Select and manage suppliers through identification, evaluation, quality control, and risk assessment, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement global procurement strategies, optimising cost through negotiation of contracts, terms, and pricing.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of buyers to excel in procurement practices and support strategic objectives.

Our client is based in Surrey and requires 4 days in the office a week, with Fridays working from home. This is an initial short-term assignment, expected to last 2-3 months.
