Factory Assistant

Job Overview:

At EMCOR UK, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Factory Assistant to join our team. As a Factory Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our sugar factory.

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to maintain and repair equipment, as well as perform welding tasks as required. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure will be essential in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £13 per hour, along with a range of benefits including 20 days holiday + BH, overtime available, on-call payout, and flex benefits through our partnership with EMCOR UK discount scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and timely completion of work
• Experienced welder with good working knowledge of British Sugar welding procedures and documentation
• Competent fabricator/pipefitter welder
• Resilient under pressure
• Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures
• Prevents wastage and misuse of equipment, materials and tools
