About the Role

We are seeking a Personal Care Provider to join our team at Bluebird Care in Barnsley and Glossop. As a Personal Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Job Description
  • Providing Personal Care Duties: Our Personal Care Providers play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our customers. This includes assisting with personal care duties such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administering Medication: You will also be responsible for administering medication to our customers, ensuring that they receive the correct dosage and treatment plan.
  • Promoting Customer Health and Wellbeing: Our Personal Care Providers work closely with our customers to promote their physical and emotional wellbeing, enabling them to live life to the fullest.
Requirements
  • Full and Valid UK Driving Licence: You must hold a full and valid UK driving licence, and have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Right to Work in the UK: You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent Level of English: You must have an excellent level of English, both written and verbal.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: We offer a competitive salary of £12-£18 per hour, depending on experience.
  • 30p Mileage Allowance: You will also receive a 30p mileage allowance for each mile driven while on duty.
  • 28 Days Holiday Pro Rata: You will be entitled to 28 days holiday pro rata, plus bank holidays.
  • Flexible Working Hours: We offer flexible working hours to accommodate your needs and ensure that you can balance your work and home life effectively.
  • Ongoing Training and Support: We provide ongoing training and support to help you develop your skills and confidence in your role.
