Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our Structures division, you will be responsible for developing and tendering for new work within our Structures division.

About the Role

This is a pivotal role for a market leading, specialist organisation which provides innovative structural and construction services across the UK. You will work closely with one of the Managing Directors to work ongoing on strategy for a new business within the Structures arm of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and tender for new work within our Structures division
  • Assist with the coordination of business development, sales and marketing activities
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement business strategy
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of tender management and a background in Civil Engineering, Construction, Construction Materials or Hard FM
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong business development and sales skills
