We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Early Years Educator Opportunity at a local nursery in Southampton, Hampshire.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to design and implement effective lesson plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Completing apprenticeship work as set by Showcase Training Assessor.
  • Promoting a culture of safeguarding and maintaining a safe learning environment.

This apprenticeship program comprises:

  • NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (15 Months).
  • NCFE/CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator (18 months).
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (unless exempt).

The compensation package includes an hourly rate of £40, increasing to National Minimum/Living Wage after 12 months, with a flexible schedule of 5 hours, Monday – Friday.
