Cavity Wall Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cavity Wall Technician to join our team at Equals One Ltd. As a Cavity Wall Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality insulation solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drill holes to specified patterns using ladders or access equipment
  • Install various cavity wall insulation products
  • Re-point drilled holes to match original mortar
  • Check ventilators and flues for clearance
  • Attend and pass ACOPs and CSCS training/tests as required
  • Ensure accurate recording of necessary paperwork
  • Work flexible hours and locations
  • Maintain professional image and quality standards
  • Adhere to Health and Safety procedures
  • Remove brickwork and perform cavity cleans where necessary
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
  • Valid UK driving licence (minimum 3.5 tonne)
  • Ability to follow instructions and operate drills/equipment
  • Experience in the insulation industry
  • Knowledge of wool and bead drill patterns (advantageous)
  • CSCS & NVQ Level 2 preferred
  • Awareness of Health and Safety
