Shift Patterns: 37.5 hrs, Mon-Fri between 08:00-18:00

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineering Technologist to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Clinical Engineering department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medical equipment across the trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Clinical Engineering services to support the trust's clinical activity, prioritizing patient and staff safety.
  • Commission, maintain, repair, calibrate, and perform quality assurance checks on medical equipment to ensure it functions as specified and is safe for use.
  • Contribute to medical equipment-related fault and incident investigations, including complex technical and equipment-related problems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize equipment usage and minimize environmental and financial costs.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Clinical Engineering post.
  • Candidates with a suitable diploma must have at least 5 years of experience in a Clinical Engineering post.
  • Degree or equivalent in Electronic, Electro-mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering (or similar scientific or engineering discipline).
