About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our Empty Homes Repairs Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance work on properties in Crawley, Woking, Brighton, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance work on properties, including plumbing, plastering, decorating, tiling, flooring, skirting, and vinyl floor laying.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using your own initiative and problem-solving skills to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and that customers are satisfied with the service provided.
  • Work safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable competence in the required primary trade.
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, with a proven ability to work to agreed performance targets.
  • Ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures, and accurately record data and information.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems, seeking advice when required.
  • Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience of working within the social housing sector.
