About the Role

The Head of Building Surveying will be responsible for leading the development of the dilapidations service line, overseeing a portfolio of high-profile projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, office, student accommodation, and build to rent.

As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with top-tier investment, institutional, logistics, and retail clients, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the dilapidations service line, identifying new business opportunities and driving growth.
  • Oversee a portfolio of high-profile projects, ensuring timely completion and exceeding client expectations.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and industry partners.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • MRICS qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in dilapidations, with a strong technical and commercial understanding.
  • Previous team management and business development experience, with a track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead.
