Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our team of engineers in a state-of-the-art facility. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC MillTurn machines with Mazatrol controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing high-tolerance components from engineering drawings with batch sizes ranging from 1 to 100 off
  • Machining materials such as Brass, Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Inconel to a tolerance of +/-0.01mm
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce programs from scratch
  • Working alongside a team of 6 other CNC Turners in a clean and well-maintained engineering workshop environment
Requirements
  • Experience of working with Mazak CNC MillTurn machines with Mazatrol controls
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Background in a subcontract machine shop would be an advantage
  • CADCAM programming would be an advantage but not essential
Working Hours

39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 12pm, with lots of overtime available paid at x1.5
