Security Officer

We are seeking a reliable and observant Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer at ABM UK, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol assigned areas to maintain a visible presence and deter illegal activities
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms for suspicious activities
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or security incidents
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all access points are secure
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
- Interact with visitors, employees, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner
- Write accurate reports detailing all observations and incidents
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with security equipment
- Must possess a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
