Senior Structural Analysis Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team at Clarehill Associates Ltd. As a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for performing detailed stress analysis of offshore structures using the Finite Element Technique.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing detailed stress analysis of offshore structures using the Finite Element Technique.
  • Structural Analysis tasks by means of modeling in company standard structural analysis software (SACS, STAAD, and GT-STRUDL).
  • Detailed design calculations in accordance with latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations (DNV GL, API, AISC, EC).
  • Prepare high-quality Design Reports and to maintain records in accordance with Department Operating Procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical / Civil/ Structural/ Design Engineering or similar.
  • Experience of delivering high-quality Structural Engineering using Finite Element Analysis.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to solve challenging problems and to work effectively within a small team.
  • Background in the design of structures for oil & gas, offshore wind, or Aerospace.

Desirable Skills

  • Offshore Wind Foundation design practices and developments.
  • Offshore wind regulations, codes of practice, and design standards.
  • Experience in programming using Python is an advantage.
