M3EU is seeking a highly skilled Translation Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for coordinating the workflow of our translation services from request to delivery, ensuring the highest quality throughout the entire service chain.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate the workflow of translation projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations.
- Resource Scheduling: Schedule resources for translation and proofreading, ensuring efficient use of time and skills.
- File Preparation: Prepare files for translation, including masking and locking of text irrelevant for each target language.
- Translation Memory Maintenance: Maintain translation memories to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Freelance Network Development: Build and develop a network of experienced and reliable freelance linguists, ensuring a high-quality pool of resources.
- Vetting and Rate Negotiation: Vette and negotiate rates with freelance linguists, ensuring fair compensation for their work.
- Linguist Account Management: Set up and maintain linguists' accounts in our supplier system, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Quality Control: Ensure the quality control of translations, meeting client standards and deadlines.
- Client Service: Deliver excellent client services, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Production Support: Participate in production when necessary, supporting the team in meeting project deadlines.
- Education: Higher education in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
- Project Management Skills: Proven project management skills, with experience in coordinating translation projects.
- CAT-Tool Proficiency: Good knowledge of a CAT-tool, preferably SDL Trados Studio.
- Translation Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the translation industry, including translation memory management and quality control.
- PEMT Comfort: Comfortable with PEMT (post edition of machine translation).
- Independence and Multitasking: Ability to work independently and multitask, with strong networking skills.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, as this is the official company language and all communication with clients is in English.
- Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave entitlement.
- Quarterly Bonus Scheme: Eligible to participate in the quarterly bonus scheme upon completion of the probationary period.
- Statutory Benefits: Entitled to all statutory benefits as required by French law, plus 25 days' annual leave plus public holidays and private health insurance.
