Midwifery Team Leader Role

NHS Fife is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Midwifery Team Leader to join our maternity services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to women and their families, while also leading and managing a team of midwives and maternity care assistants.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive unit, with a strong focus on midwife-led care. Our team provides continuity of care for women and families during the antenatal and postnatal period, and we are committed to delivering high-quality care that meets the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care to a caseload of women, including antenatal and postnatal care
  • Lead and manage a team of midwives and maternity care assistants
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of women and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Contribute to the development of our midwife-led care services

  • UK NMC Registered Midwife
  • Education to degree level
