Job Title: IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer

SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer– £360 per day – Inside IR3- Onsite - Gosport

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer to join our team at SCC. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing configuration management, inventory management, fault management, and trouble management support on established Wintel servers and desktop devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide configuration management, inventory management, fault management, and trouble management support on established Wintel servers and desktop devices.
  • Support periodic patching, maintenance, and upgrades of Wintel computer environments.
  • Coordinate with other technical staff to provide clients and customers with appropriate support for all account services.
  • Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10, Active Directory Citrix, and VMware.
  • Ability to integrate distributed computing hardware and software systems.
  • Willingness to travel with a full driving license and join the on-call rota.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of Wintel servers and desktop devices.
  • Experience with configuration management, inventory management, fault management, and trouble management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
