Electrical Engineer Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Smart CI Group Ltd. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install new electrical systems to client standards and maintain them while ensuring safety and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and industrial electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and industrial electrical systems, ensuring installations meet manufacturer's standards.
  • Adhere to statutory and company policies and procedures to ensure safe working practices in line with HSE legislation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
  • City & Guilds – 18th Edition certification.
  • Experience reading and understanding drawings and specifications.
  • Full UK driving license.
