Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our team at a prestigious aerospace precision engineering company. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for machining complex aerospace parts to close tolerances on 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machining large parts to tight tolerances using 3/4/5-axis machines
  • Performing basic 1st-off quality inspection of machined parts
  • Maintaining a clean and organized machining area
  • Conducting basic operator maintenance
  • Working with tough materials such as titanium

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator using 3/4/5-axis machines
  • Familiarity with multi-pallet systems
  • Experience with Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol and/or Siemens controls
  • Previous aerospace experience is advantageous
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings
  • Precision skills for working within tight tolerances
  • Competence in using measuring equipment (Vernier calipers, bore micrometres, etc.)
  • Capability to handle heavy billets
  • Safety-conscious and detail-focused
  • Strong team player
