Electrical Systems Engineer

We are recruiting an Electrical Systems Engineer to deliver top-notch UPS field services, including installations, repairs, and battery management. If you have a passion for technology and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install AC and DC systems efficiently.
2. Troubleshoot and repair UPS systems in the field and at our facilities.
3. Replace batteries and conduct thorough site surveys.
4. Analyze electrical environments and diagnose MCCs, Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), and power distribution systems.
5. Compile detailed site analysis reports.
6. Build and maintain trusting relationships with customers.
7. Promote and sell Eaton Electrical South Africa service offerings.
8. Prepare monthly service activity reports.
9. Participate in standby service as required.
10. Travel extensively, both nationally and internationally.
11. Adhere to Eaton EHS standards and seek guidance when necessary.

Salary Estimate: R 700,000 - R 900,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in UPS systems, data center operations, power electronics, and field service roles.
• Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
