About the Role

This Junior Community Development Officer position plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of community-based group learning programs to young people in various locations throughout South Ayrshire.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Community Learning & Development Officer to ensure the smooth execution of these programs, which aim to engage and educate young people.

Key aspects of the job include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of young participants.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with local stakeholders, schools, and community groups to promote the program and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Providing support and guidance to young participants, including those with additional support needs.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £23,000 - £33,000 based on full-time equivalent hours.
