ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Reliability Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Machining Operation Manager by ensuring the ongoing availability and dependability of machinery and plant equipment. You will collaborate closely with facility and office teams across various shifts and coordinate with suppliers to acquire essential parts and equipment.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and maintaining a wide array of electrical, mechanical, and technical systems. You will keep your knowledge of machine tools current, utilize Agility application software effectively, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
You will also be involved in out-of-hours standby systems and provide recommendations regarding asset conditions to the Maintenance Team Leader or Operation Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individual and group support for the maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate directly with teams and suppliers across all shifts.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of facility equipment while working independently across a 3-shift system.
- Utilize Agility application software for maintenance operations.
- Participate in out-of-hours standby systems and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Recommend enhancements and replacements for assets.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and practices.
- Assist in planning preventative maintenance and support efforts to minimize downtime.
- Conduct annual inspections of ladders and racking.
- Engage in necessary training to fulfill job responsibilities.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline or a relevant engineering apprenticeship.
- Time-served in mechanical engineering, preferably multi-skilled.
