Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, including tailored interventions and small group work.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of lessons, including setting up materials and equipment.
  • Support students with their personal care needs, including administering medication and assisting with mobility.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure that students receive the support they need.
Requirements:
  • GCSE A-C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • High expectations of students' behavior and ability to maintain consistent boundaries.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently.
