About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team at our Barrow-in-Furness store. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, providing expert advice on eye care and visual health, and prescribing corrective lenses and treatments as needed.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, plus benefits including private medical and dental cover, professional fees paid, and a pension contribution. You will also enjoy 33 days holiday, plus your birthday off.

Job Description

This is a full-time position with flexible hours, clinics running between 9-5. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, with a dedicated quiet/prayer room and foot washing facilities available for those who wish to pray or perform their ablutions separately.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a GOC registered Optometrist with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. You should have experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Location and Parking

The store is located near parking facilities, both on-street parking which is free and a car park closer to the store which is payable. You can walk to the store from these locations easily.
