The Manor Arms, a leading hospitality venue in Streatham, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of customer service and maintaining a positive work environment.

Job Summary

This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including access to our Career Pathway, fully funded apprenticeships, and a comprehensive pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality
  • Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Maintain a positive and supportive work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring profitability and maximizing revenue
  • Work closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and drive growth

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior management position within the hospitality industryProven track record of leadership and team managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectivelyKnowledge of financial management principles and budgeting practices
