Job Title: Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to students in a SEMH secondary school in Salford.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for recent Youth Work Graduates or those with experience in SEN and/or SEMH to embark on their careers. You will work closely with the dedicated staff at the school to provide one-to-one, targeted interventions during lessons and break times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to students in Key Stage 3 and 4 across various subject areas.
  • Collaborate with the school staff to uphold the core values of the school.
  • Work closely with students to identify and address their individual needs.
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions to support student progress.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with students with SEN or SEMH needs is a prerequisite.
