As the Head of Brand and Content, you will be responsible for leading a team of Senior Programme Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success. You will oversee the development and delivery of the team's business plan, ensuring projects align with the Design Council's strategy and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the line management of 3 Senior Programme Managers, hosting regular 1-2-1's and overseeing their development and performance.
- Oversee the development and delivery of the team business plan, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the Design Council's strategy and mission.
- Develop and deliver the skills mission, leveraging stakeholder relationships and partnerships across the skills ecosystem.
- Lead the knowledge content strategy, researching design sector trends and best practices, and drawing from the collective intelligence of the Design Council Expert network.
- Oversee the development and delivery of policy and advocacy work, ensuring government support for design and policy that enhances the Design Council's mission.
Requirements:
- Experience in effective team leadership and management, supporting and coaching others to achieve their best.
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills.
- Passionate about the Design Council's mission and background or appreciation of current design debates and practice.
