We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Scientist to join our team at Nicoll Curtin. As a key member of our Front Office, you will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making in a global investment banking environment.

This role requires a top-tier Data Scientist with strong expertise in developing and automating data processes using cloud technologies. You will establish robust data ingestion and transformation workflows tailored to high-volume Front Office datasets.

You will collaborate directly with traders and quants to integrate and optimise market, trade, and risk data. Design and implement low-latency, high-performance pipelines on Databricks to support trade execution, pricing models, and portfolio analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform Front Office Data Use: Collaborate with traders and quants to integrate and optimise market, trade, and risk data.">
  • Build Real Time Analytics Solutions: Design and implement pipelines on Databricks to support trade execution, pricing models, and portfolio analysis.">

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in Front Office environments with a strong understanding of trading workflows and asset classes.">
  • Expertise in leveraging Databricks for large-scale data processing, integration, and analysis in high-pressure settings.">
  • Proficiency in Python, Spark, and Delta Lake alongside cloud technologies like Azure or AWS.">
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with traders, quants, and senior stakeholders.">
