Job Overview
Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Environmental Policy Specialist to join their team. This role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team providing ecological advice and project support to a range of projects.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a great understanding of current environmental legislation, and a valid UK driving licence. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, excellent benefits package, and hybrid working flexibility.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work on various projects across different environmental sectors, including landscape design, ecology, arboriculture, and biodiversity. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing sound ecological advice to project managers, writing reports, and carrying out protected species surveys and Phase 1 habitat surveys.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing ecological advice to project managers
- Writing reports and being involved in protected species surveys
- Carrying out Phase 1 habitat surveys

Requirements
- A relevant degree and a great understanding of current environmental legislation
- Valid UK driving licence
