Management Accountant

Direct Response Employment Services is assisting a long-established client in Shaftesbury in the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key lead in setting and monitoring budgets and working alongside the wider financial team in driving continuous improvements.
- Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and support the Finance Manager in reporting and analysis across the group, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and where necessary, provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage the collation, interpretation, and accuracy of weekly and monthly Management accounts & reports according to time schedules agreed.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data supplied to the board and external compliance organisations, providing information for audits.
- Support the Finance Director in the co-ordination and production of the annual budget and periodic forecasts as required.
- Support senior management and key stakeholders in making informed financial decisions, support budget holders in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, communicate and interpret financial data to non-financial managers.
Requirements:
- Previous accountancy experience and ideally be part-qualified CIMA or ACCA qualified with previous experience of managing budgets within an organisation.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
