Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Stores Person to join our team at Holt Engineering. As a key member of our stores team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all parts are stored or issued in the correct way to avoid damage.
  • Picking and kitting of inventory items.
  • Maintaining accurate records on computer systems and completing paperwork efficiently.
  • Moving materials and equipment within the warehouse.
  • Reporting any discrepancies or issues with inventory or equipment.
  • Keeping the work environment tidy, clean, and organized.
  • Following all health and safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Operating a forklift to move materials and unload deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or stores environment, preferably in an engineering company.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • PC literacy and ability to maintain records accurately.
  • High level of numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Counterbalance forklift license is beneficial.
