About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Supported Internship programme team in Worcester as a Skills Coach. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their goals and develop the skills they need for sustained paid employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support learners with SEN to complete all elements of the Supported Internship programme in line with requirements.
  • Provide tailored support to learners in the workplace, including 1-1 job coaching and developing employability skills.
  • Embed English and Maths learning in the workplace to support learners' overall development.
  • Monitor and report on learner progression and achievement of outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience of supporting people with SEN.
  • Experience of delivering against targets and achieving outcomes.
  • Knowledge of safe working practices and sector-specific requirements.
  • A-C/9-4 English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent).
  • Good ICT skills and effective communication.
  • Effective record keeping and reporting.
