We are seeking a seasoned Area Finance Manager to join our team at Expeditors International. As an Area Finance Manager, you will play a key role in driving financial excellence and contributing to the company's growth.

Job Overview

The Area Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the area, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with country controllers and regional accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

  • Estimated salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, based in London.
  • Benefits include 23 days holiday, private medical insurance, dental and optical cover, employee stock purchase plan, training and personnel development program, and EAP.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in financial planning and analysis. A proven track record of leadership and communication skills is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Work closely with country controllers and regional accounting team to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
