Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Event Analyst to join our team at FNZ Group. As a Risk Event Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of risk event reporting and ensuring that any event is delivered timely and accurately with appropriate actions to mitigate future risk.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver Quality Risk Events: Ensure the delivery of quality, accurate Risk Events to clients in a timely manner, with appropriate assessment of regulatory impact.
  2. Partner with Clients: Partner with our client base to ensure Risk Events and causal themes are challenged to reduce the likelihood of reoccurrence.
  3. Produce Risk Event Management Information: Produce Risk Event Management Information as required.
  4. Identify Process Improvements: Identify efficiencies and improvements in the processes related to quality and timeliness.
  5. Facilitate Risk Framework: Partner with the business to facilitate, improve, and maintain the risk framework.
  6. Drive Quality Action Plans: Assist in driving quality action plans (events and audits), with appropriate ownership and oversight to ensure completion on schedule.
  7. Support First Line of Defence: Support first line of defence with any Risk related enquiries.
  8. Deliver Risk Focused Training: Deliver Risk focussed training to the business.
  9. Stay Informed: Be informed of sector-wide developments - and those beyond the business sector - and how this relates to the business and framework.
  10. Undertake Additional Duties: Undertake any other reasonable duties, as determined by the Manager and Operational Risk Director.
  11. Complete Mandatory Training: Ensure all mandatory training is completed in a timely fashion.
Requirements
  1. Complex Edict Understanding: Be able to understand complex edicts, regulation guidelines, insurance products, and financial legislation. Some prior experience with the UK financial regulation market is desirable.
