About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Wellbeing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional wellbeing of children and young people.
Working in a variety of school and community venues, you will offer brief interventions via 1:1 wellbeing sessions and therapeutic group work covering emotional literacy and emotional regulation.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain active engagement on all safeguarding matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver wellbeing sessions and group work to support children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Work collaboratively with schools, community agencies and other stakeholders to deliver effective support.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology, education).
- Experience working with children and young people in a wellbeing or mental health context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
