Production Engineer - Electronics and Testing

We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer with a focus on electronics and testing to support our operations. This role will involve designing and producing test equipment for in-process sub-assembly testing and LRU/RMA testing, as well as developing the associated test plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the liaison between Engineering and Production teams, focusing on test requirements during production to enhance build quality and minimize rework.
  • Provide electrical and test support to address engineering production issues, ensuring minimal production delays.
  • Design and develop test equipment, and assist with the procurement of necessary tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Create test plans and procedures, coordinating production engineering processes to ensure high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
  • Support Engineering with the implementation of Change Requests (CRs).
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to boost production capacity, quality, and reliability, while supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives and cost reduction efforts.
  • Assist the Quality department with inspection and investigative activities.
  • Contribute to budget preparation and monitor related expenses.
  • Conduct engineering analysis to minimize downtime and outages of test and production assembly equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and fault-find electromechanical equipment, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
